Reflecting on Your 2022 Financial Journey

Welcome back. I’m your host, Aimee Cerka. We are talking, right now we’re going to kind a series about helping you reflect on 2022 when it comes to your money. And again, what worked? What didn’t?

So today’s question that I’ve got for you is, are you open to receiving money?

Now you might be thinking, like “Yeah, of course, Aimee, yes, I want money. This is very clear, please send more.” Okay, I’ve got the open sign out there, right? But sometimes we don’t realize we actually have this closed stamp on our forehead.

Okay, we did talk briefly about this a couple of weeks ago. But it doesn’t always show up in the ways that we expect it to.

Recognizing the Value in Small Gains

So are you ignoring the penny on the ground when you walk by? That is still money, that’s still income that you’re receiving. So pick it up, you deserve it.

You might be expecting to have a raise at work or you might be expecting to have this new $10,000 client coming in but then you might get an email with $50 from something that you forgot about or a check in the mail for reimbursement for something that you again, forgot about, or weren’t expecting, or a gift card. Or maybe somebody pays for your meal for you in the drive-through. You know, when they get the chain going.

The Power of Paying It Forward

Now, of course, if you pay it forward and do that to somebody else, you still receive the gift of your food and then you’re giving to somebody else which uplevels your vibration, and all of those things because we are all like, vibe. We’re all at our core, there are vibrational levels that we all have like, scientifically, okay, we don’t even have to talk about the woowoo side of things.

But we have to be expecting to receive our blessings.

Shifting Your Mindset About Money

One of the things that I’ve talked about in the past is a story that I had created about the things have to be a struggle, right? Than it had to be a struggle to earn income.

So one of the things that I write every single day, it doesn’t matter how long I’ve been doing this, it doesn’t matter how much I’ve improved. I write every single day in my journal, we make money with ease, we mean myself and my husband both because we’re a team, it’s both of us, right?

But we make money with ease and we receive this income right?

We make money with ease, receiving our current goal amount or more every single month. Receiving it. That’s different than making it, especially if you’re an entrepreneur and you know payment plans.

And we can be like, “Oh, I have the six-figure want. But I only got like a small portion of it because everyone’s paying it out every 12 months.” Which is perfectly fine because you have that income but you haven’t actually received it.

Setting Goals to Receive Income

So I set my income goal to receive this amount. We actually have it cash in hand.

But it might show up in different ways we’ve talked about before we’ve received gift cards, somebody can show up with diapers because, you know, a kid in diapers is a lot. I’m just glad it’s not too in diapers this time, right?

Be open to receiving the money to receive the wealth to receive the abundance in whatever form it might show up.

There might be somebody who helps to offer to watch your kids so that you can do this thing that you need to do. Whether that thing that you need to do is taking care of yourself, whether that thing that you need to do is making income.

It’s all a form of money because money, like currency, is really what we think of as money. But money itself is just a form of trade.

Are You Open to Receiving Wealth?

So where is this wealth, this money showing up for you? Are you actually open to receiving it? Are you so set and focused you got your blinders on?

This is how it has to happen, that you’re missing everything that’s coming out.
