Believe in Your Worth
Do you believe you are worth what you’re charging? Do you believe you can have it all, because if you don’t, you’re not going to achieve it. Let’s talk about why.
We haven’t met yet. My name is Aimee Cerka. I’m your go-to money confidence coach for making money simple with straight to the point strategies all speak and make more money in less time.
Charge Your Worth, But Believe It
So so many times we’ll hear you know, charge your work, or raise your prices, do those things like double it, okay, like whatever you think the price should be double it. And sometimes that’s true. But if you don’t believe that, you’re going to hit it, if you don’t believe you’re going to achieve that life that you’re working towards. If you don’t believe that you’re worth that price, we’re gonna self sabotage, we’re not going to do the things that we need to.
So if you’re struggling with this idea with this thought process, what do you do? Because you need to charge your worth, right? You need to charge things like time for money that exchange what you need to be at.
We don’t need to be working for nothing. Take that step back. What does feel possible?
Okay, so what’s that feeling? What’s that experience that you’re looking to create? What is your end destination? Not the number? What’s the experience? What’s the life that you’re looking to create? What is that feel like? And focus on that.
Focus on the Experience, Not Just Numbers
For a lot of people will say, you know, I want to hit that 100k. But what does that actually look like. But when we only look at the numbers, we get stuck there. It’s never enough, the money’s never enough, because it’s like, I have to have more, I have to do more.
Mindset Matters in Overcoming Self-Sabotage
So then we have to work more to do all these things. And it’s just not gonna happen. We also self sabotage because we don’t believe that we can have the dream life which we got to get into like, there’s a lot of mindset work that we have to do there to unpack, like why we self sabotage because a lot of it will be like childhood trauma, child won’t even like perceive childhood trauma, we’re not I’m not even saying like, you know, your parents did all these awful things to you.
The Power of Bold Beliefs
It’s the way that you feel about what happened. If you don’t feel that you can have this dream life, if you don’t think that you can, your family, your relationships, work health, having fun, you have to believe that you can have that.
Now, this is all sparked by conversation I was having recently on LinkedIn, when we connect on LinkedIn, you might know a lot of times I will ask you if I can ask you a question for a poll. And one of my new connections responded, and she voted on the poll. And then she said like, my husband and I are both looking for more opportunities that would allow us for more family time.
And I liked the strategic part of it. But like this, she knows why, like, we want to have more family time. So it sounds like you know, we’re probably having to work a lot of hours, you know, that time for money exchange, and we’re looking for that more leverage.
So there’s a little bit of specificity there and what we’re looking for, but if you don’t believe that’s possible, if you believe everything else, you know, there’s a lot of negative stuff that we’re taught out there. You know, the world and you know, the grass is always greener, keeping up with the Joneses, all those things, whatever you’re working towards, knowing what that looks, looks like, in that experience, that life that you want to create not getting stuck on the numbers.
But with the numbers, don’t just throw them out there. Because then we’re going to self-sabotage. If you don’t believe you can actually have it, you’re not going to do it. Alright, we’re gonna stop rambling. That’s it for now.
If you don’t believe that you can have it all I want you to ask yourself this what is possible for you right now? What do you feel like you can achieve right now? If you’re feeling bold? Let me know in the comments below. We’ll see you next time. Bye for now.
