Let’s go ahead and dive in today so if you hate the word budget, if it is uncomfortable to hear.

You don’t want to budget.

You don’t want to have to mess with that you hate the word.

That’s what we’re talking about today, what do you do if you hate the word budget.

Oftentimes what I find when I’m working with clients, is that the word budget feels icky because it feels like you’re being limited, like you’re being told no.

And honestly, who likes to be told no, right? I know for sure my two-year-old daughter Brooklynn does not like to be told no. But what if budgeting didn’t have to be that you were told no, maybe you can set it up in a different way.

And I know you can set it up in a different way. So that your budget is not meant to limit you.

Your budget is meant so that you can do more of the things that you want to actually do.

If you’re feeling frustrated with your budget that it is telling you, no. Let’s fix it. Let’s fix your budget, there is something not working for you and your budget should work for you after all your budget is designed around your hard-earned money.

So, let’s make your hard-earned money work for you. You are in charge here let’s make it work for you so that you can create that lifestyle that you’re looking for, without feeling limited by that budget.

Part of the problem of the budget is always feeling limiting it’s almost like a weight on us when we have to budget.

Now, if you’re not a numbers person, we can kind of help with that too. Now, honestly, I can’t relate personally because I am a numbers person but we have helped many people that are not numbers people to be able to budget in a way that works for them and creating a money management system.

That’s probably the biggest key because there’s so much more to your finances than just a budget, a budget is one piece.

Now granted, it’s a pretty major piece, but we need to be able to have the full picture, the money management system.

That way it can be set up to truly work for you and when you have the money management system in place, and actually makes it a lot easier to budget, and there are fewer things that you have to do.

There are systems that you can put in place that you can delegate as well to have other people who work for you, maybe find somebody who is a numbers person to take care of that but we need to have that money management system in place so that we can make it work. So we can eliminate that icky feeling when it comes to budgeting. Not a numbers person? Don’t worry, we’ve got you too.

Money management system and that is where your budget kind of lives, like I, said it’s one piece of the puzzle. So we have to reframe the thought that whenever we are working on our finances. Really, even if you’re not intentional with your finances, you’re still working on them just in a negative manner.

Things can’t stay stagnant right they’re either growing or decaying think about a piece of fruit, it’s ripening or rotting.

We can’t just stay stagnant so if you are not intentional with what is happening with your money with your hard-earned money. What’s going to happen to it, it’s going to go out the door we don’t know what’s going on we’re not able to do the things that we want to do with our finances and a budget would fix that.

But again, if the budget feels icky. That’s because our systems aren’t set up in place, or you haven’t had someone to help you set up a budget that truly works for you.

There’s a lot of training out there can that can teach different types of financial management, and some of them can be pretty intense. I’m not saying that you can’t get results with it, but it’s not really fun. And if it’s not fun. We don’t want to do it right?

So, why don’t we take back our joy, take back our fun, our joy when it comes to money, and our finances and our budget and make it work for us right because that is the key we have to set it up so that things work for us we are all individuals we all have different situations. There are different things that are going to be more important to you than they are to me.

But we have the same basic principles, and that is that we want to be able to achieve our dreams, and we want our budget to get us there right.
