After over 10 years in the personal finance industry, and multiple personal financial and medical crisis, I was fed up with the lies that are being shouted from the rooftops, by the Gurus and the media.

So now I make money simple, so that you have the confidence that you need to, to handle the money thing without sacrificing your lifestyle. If you’re a female entrepreneur who wants to make more money and are ready to eliminate fear, stress, struggle, frustration and guilt, from your finances, in all the areas that they affect. You’re in the right place. Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’re saving for a rainy day, you need to stop. And here’s why. Before we get to it, though, let me quickly introduce myself if we haven’t met yet. I’m Aimee Cerka, your go to money confidence coach for making money simple, with straight to the point strategies all so that you can make more money in less time.

So if you’re saving for a rainy day, there is the problem with that. Now, it’s not a bad idea to have savings. Yes, you should have savings, not in as much of a traditional sense as we used to, you know, the whole three to six months worth of expenses just thrown in a savings account.

Yeah, please don’t do that anymore. Like that’s not beneficial, with inflation and everything, right now. But that’s what we’re talking about today.

Finding Joy in Your Money Journey

When you’re so focused on saving everything, because you’re saving for a rainy day, you’re not enjoying where you’re at now, with your money. You’re not finding the joy in the little things, and enjoying life now, because you already are successful. There’s not necessarily anywhere else to get to.

Yes, we’re all striving to improve, we’re all striving to move forward to hit those new goals. But in that constant pursuit of success, you’re missing out on life. So if you’re constantly like, well, I’m going to save for a rainy day, I’m going to do this, I can’t do this, it’s got to be like I have to hold on to everything. Because I don’t know what’s coming up.

The Problem with Over-saving

Or what’s going to happen that I’m going to need this. You’re missing out on life, you’re missing out on the joy that can come from your money and having a good relationship with your money and doing things. Now yes, we don’t want to blow everything. That’s not reasonable.

But that’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about having intentional font, and doing the things that we want to and not just saving everything. And then what you are saving, of course, do it in a smart way.

Balancing Success and Enjoying Life

If you want to see, we did a video recently about how to actually save your upper savings below and I can get that to you. Because I want you to have the joy, I want you to find the gratitude. Now there is not always somewhere else you have to be.

Have fun now experience where you’re at the joy of the gratitude, find those things that you’re doing already. And you’re gonna see exponential results when you enjoy where you’re at now, then you can move forward and have fun, but you’ve also removed the pressure from yourself and the night you’re happier. There’s so many things that show up.

Embrace Financial Joy Today

So stop saving for a rainy day. Enjoy saving everything for a rainy day and enjoy where you’re at now have fun. I’d love to hear let me know below what is something that you like to do? That’s fun.

It doesn’t have to be expensive. It can be something silly. It can be inexpensive, but what’s something that you do with your money that gives you joy?
