Hey there, how are you doing? Have you ever felt like you had this massive list of things that you need to do, that you need to accomplish and nothing ever gets done because it becomes almost overwhelming?

You don’t even know where to start.

If that is you we’re definitely going to talk about I’ve got a secret tip or a strategy that I use to help actually be able to get stuff done with, even when you start to feel that “O word” as we call the overwhelm coming up.

0:34
But before we dive in. Hi, if we’ve never met before. My name is Aimee Cerka and I’m so excited that you’re here joining us this evening. I’m super thankful that you’re here.

But let’s go ahead and dive in. So, what happens if you are somebody that creates lists. That’s awesome. I firmly believe that we should have lists but so often, our lists can kind of become overwhelming.

1:07
There’s so many things that are on them and nothing ever gets done because you don’t even know where to start, like where do you even begin because you have this massive, massive amount of things that need get done. Now I’m a mama to three and myself, we homeschool as well I run my business. My husband works, away from home extended he’s gone. and now a couple weeks at a time so I am running everything solo. And I have to be able to keep track of a household and stay track, stay on top of everything.

1:41
And the way that I do that I do have a list system that I utilize, but the most important part though is at the end of my day when I am prepping to get ready for the next day. I go ahead and I have a list or it’s not even really a list, a paper that I create that has three things that I want to accomplish the next day. Just three things.

2:06
Now of course you kind of have to feed the kids and yourself and whatever. But full disclosure taking a shower has made the list before because let’s face it, not always a priority, like it should be, and very key. But focusing having three things that you are going to get done.

2:26
They can be big, they can be small, if they’re a bigger item, maybe put like a dash next to it, and something that you need to work on, but you’re going to do specifically for that. So, let’s say you are trying to declutter house, which, we just had a garage sale this past weekend. But, start with one room, once you’re going to go through one room, in one room is going to be too much to do, go through a closet, go through a door, pick something that you know is achievable because getting a win is way more important than getting a bunch of stuff done.

So you get more done because you create that victory for yourself when you set those small sustainable goals, you create that victory.

And that is so important so picking three things that you’re going to work on doesn’t matter how big or how small whatever it might be, what three things are you going to accomplish tomorrow.

3:29
That’s going to be a total game changer for you doesn’t really matter again how big or small, it might be it can be as silly as taking a shower. I mean, legitimately that’s on my list for tomorrow is getting to take a shower and washing my hair.

3:41
It might be silly but it’s important we have to be able to take care of ourselves, too, so make your list three things that you’re going to accomplish tomorrow start creating a habit. I know they’ve said an average 21 days to create a habit, but this is going to be very important for you and it’s going to be able to help you accomplish so much more because it’s able to be broken down. So I would encourage you still have a massive list of everything that you need to accomplish.

4:07
Because it is not written down we’re going to forget it, but focus on three things, what three things are you going to accomplish tomorrow?

4:17
