Boys are in Awana’s and she can actually see Wyatt playing outside right now she’s watching the kids on the playground. Hopefully, there won’t be too much of that so that we can actually get through this.

But today I want to talk about the most common misconception that I hear when it comes to finances and having a budget really is what it boils down to. And before we dive into that, I wanted to quickly share if we’ve never met before. Hi, my name is Aimee Cerka. So, as we go ahead and jump in, the biggest misconception that I hear when it comes to budgeting is that it has to be it’s no fun.

It’s got to be difficult. It’s got to be this whole process for you to keep your head down, and that you’re not able. That it has to be difficult and that we can’t have any fun if you have a budget.

It doesn’t have to be painful. It doesn’t have to be difficult.

The purpose of a budget is to know where you’re at with your money to know how much money you have coming in, and how much money you have coming out what you do with your budget and your awareness of having your money and where you’re spending, your managing your money.

And at first, it might not be I hear all the time, that it’s not, I don’t want to know where my money is going because then I have to be accountable. Well, that’s really on you because you’re spending the money anyway, and it’s going to these places, so why not know what you’re doing and you can make whatever decision you want with where your money’s at. It’s just knowing what you’re doing with it. being cognizant and managing the money instead of letting your money manage you. So that all this hard work that you’re putting in 40, 50, 60, 70, maybe even 80 hours a week into your job into your business, whatever it may be. We don’t want it to go to waste. So
